Baia degli Infreschi Trail

A wonderful trail that takes you on a hike across the promontory, through some woods and open areas with spectacular sea views. The Baia degli Infreschi is a magical spot, and this 4.5 km trail is a lovely way to walk there. It starts at the Marina di Camerota at the end of Via Lentiscella. (Or, you can start at the port area, and add another kilometer to the hike.) Park and after skirting the cemertery at the end of the paved road you will see a wooden bridge; after crossing it the path ascends, a rather steep climb but doable even for casual hikers. At the top are more signs. The path will do a bit of up and down along the way, and there are spots to detour to the coves of Pozzallo and Cala Bianca. But carry on, because the Baia degli Infreschi is a magical spot -a real paradise! You will return on the same trail, so if you want to visit the Cala Bianca on the way back, you will be rewarded with a cove of pristine white sand surrounded by rocks and macchia brush. Both Cala Bianca and Infreschi have been named among the most beautiful beaches in Italy.
