Acqua Village Water Park

The Acqua Village in Follonica is just that - a village dedicated to water fun!. Set just outside of town, it is a Hawaiian-themed park with rollicking slides and a variety of pools and games.

One "group slide" lets you race your friends down, while another are has several different lengths and heights of slides all together. Of course, they plunge you into a pool at the end! But there are other pools, too, like the big wave pool that simulates rolling ocean tides, and another called "an island of wellness" that features waterfalls and hydromassage jets. There is also an "Isola dei Bambini" or the Kiddy Isle, with water games and wading pool just right for the little ones. Organized games, theatrical shows, a circus school, and Hawaiian dancing are also part of the park's fun.

Of course, there are food stands, so you can eat well...or junk food, if you prefer ;) The stands include a granita bar and a yogurt and fruit stand, too.
